Content Guidelines for Plotfun

At Plotfun, our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community where everyone can share and enjoy creative content. Before you embark on your creative journey with Plotfun, it's important to familiarize yourself with these guidelines, as well as our Code of Conduct, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.

Respecting Community Values

We ask that you respect and protect the feelings, property, and personal information of all community members. Avoid posting anything that you or others might regret in the future, including content that your peers, family, or educators might find inappropriate or offensive.

Content Rating

All creators are expected to accurately rate their content. Please classify your stories as either 'Mature' or 'General' based on the criteria provided. If you encounter incorrectly rated content, please report it using the tools provided on our platform.

Mature Content

Mature content on Plotfun is intended for users aged 17 and up. Please rate your story as Mature if it contains explicit sexual scenes, themes of self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or graphic depictions of violence including sexual, verbal, emotional, and physical abuse.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on Plotfun and will be removed immediately:

Pornographic content or content solely intended for sexual stimulation.
Content that glorifies or promotes non-consensual sexual acts, including rape, sexual assault, and sexual violence.
Illegal activities, including content describing illegal sex acts such as bestiality, necrophilia, incest, or child exploitation.
Media displaying full nudity, sexual acts, or self-harm that could be harmful or triggering to other users.
Content that promotes or glorifies hate groups, terrorist activity, or violent extremist groups.

Media Guidelines

We may remove images, videos, gifs, and sound clips that violate our Content Guidelines. This includes media:

Showing explicit sexual activity or full exposure of private parts.
Depicting graphic violence or self-harm.
Posted without the consent of the individuals depicted.

Handling Sensitive Topics

If you are dealing with themes of self-harm, suicide, or other personal crises, please handle these topics with care. Content should not promote or give instructional detail about self-harm. We encourage content that discusses recovery, survival, and the realistic consequences of such behaviors.

Community Interaction and Respect

Respectful interaction is key to maintaining a positive community. Please treat all members with kindness and respect. Avoid content that:

Constitutes personal attacks or bashes users for personal reasons.
Reveals personally identifying information about others without consent.
Promotes violence or hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.

Spam and Promotion

Content that constitutes spam or unsolicited promotion of products or services is not allowed on Plotfun.

Enforcement and Reporting

If you come across content that violates our guidelines, please report it using our reporting tools. Plotfun reserves the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate our guidelines.

Changes to Guidelines
